For confirmed cafés

The Checked badge

A café that confirms its own listing on Cafeography is marked Checked with the date and listed first on its pages. If that's you, you can show it on your own site. The badge links to your listing.

What the badge says

It names your café and the date you confirmed your listing. Each café gets its own badge file, so a copy on someone else's site still names you, not them. Confirmation lasts a year. If it lapses and isn't renewed, the same file changes to “Listing not confirmed” on every site that shows it, without anyone having to edit anything.

Who can use it

Only cafés whose listing shows Checked. Nobody can pay for the badge or the Checked mark; it can only be confirmed by the café itself.

Get your badge

No café has confirmed its listing yet. Be the first: find your café's card in its city, use the “Is this you?” link, and send the form. Once we've confirmed it's you, your badge appears here.

  1. Find your café's card in its city and use “Is this you?”.
  2. Check the details and send the form, ideally from your café's own email address.
  3. Once it's confirmed, pick your café above and paste the code into your website.

The badge is an image hosted by us, so it stays current. It's a plain link: no scripts, no tracking.
